The corporate tax in Kazakhstan is calculated at 20%. This is known as Corporate Income Tax or (CIT). The percentage of tax you are required to pay depends on the business structure you choose to adopt.

There are four popular business structures; these are:

  • Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs)
  • Joint stock companies
  • Branch offices
  • Representative Offices

You are required to obtain a tax certificate and tax code and file an annual tax return for each of these business structures, except the representative office.
